Do you have a Mexico 20 Pesos Banknote? Here’s how to exchange it with us.
The Mexican Peso is the official currency in Mexico, and its origins date back to 1925, after the founding of the Bank of Mexico. The first series consisted of bills of 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 500, and 1,000 pesos and were printed by the American Bank Note Company of New York (ABNC). The first series are commemorative banknotes in denominations of 100 and 200 Mexican pesos currently circulating.
The 20 Pesos note front design features Benito Juarez at the right-center, book, and scales at the center (1806 – 1872), who was a Mexican lawyer and politician and the 26th president of Mexico. The reverse note side has the image of The View of Cocijo (a lightning deity of the pre-Columbian Zapotec civilization of southern Mexico). This note is part of the 2004 – 2019 Polymer plastic series and, its color is blue.
