The 2000 Rupiah note front design features Mohammad Hoesni Thamrin, who was an Indonesian political thinker and National Hero (1894 – 1941). The reverse note side has the Piring dance image (Traditional dance originated from West Sumatra, Indonesia.), Sianok Canyon, and also Mangnolia Champaca (a large evergreen tree). This note is part of the 2016 – 2017 series and, its color is gray and yellow.
