The Canada 5 Dollars (1969-1975 Bank of Canada) is the official currency in Canada.
The first paper money issued in the country was the British army’s notes since 1813 and 1815.
The Canadian dollar had an initial introduction dating from the 1830s, and in 1871, after all the government approved the Uniform Currency Act to unify the currency in all Provinces of the country. Currently are circulating banknotes in denominations of 5, 10, 20, 50, and 100 dollars.
The 5 Dollars note front design features the image of Sir Wilfrid Laurier on the right of the note. Also, the coat of arms on the left with the denomination in every corner with a different pattern design.
On the back is an illustration of a Salmon fishing boat.
The color of the banknote is gray and blue.
