The Canada 10 Dollars (1904-Bank of Montreal) is the official currency in Canada.
The first paper money issued in the country was the British army’s notes since 1813 and 1815.
The Canadian dollar had an initial introduction dating from the 1830s, and in 1871, after all the government approved the Uniform Currency Act to unify the currency in all Provinces of the country. Currently are circulating banknotes in denominations of 5, 10, 20, 50, and 100 dollars.
The 10 Dollars note front design features the image of Edward Clouston on the left, a coat of arms at bottom center, and the picture of Donald A. Smith (Lord Strathcona) on the right. Also a serif X in the center of the note.
On the back, Bank of Montreal building, Toronto.
The color of the banknote is black and green.
