The Canada 1 Dollar (Bank of Canada-French text) is the official currency in Canada.
The first paper money issued in the country was the British army’s notes since 1813 and 1815.
The Canadian dollar had an initial introduction dating from the 1830s, and in 1871, after all the government approved the Uniform Currency Act to unify the currency in all Provinces of the country. Currently are circulating banknotes in denominations of 5, 10, 20, 50, and 100 dollars.
The 1 Dollar note front design features A black and white frame decorated with abstract shapes with the values “1” and “ONE”. In the center, in a decorative form, the banknote’s face value. In an oval on the left is a portrait of King George V, and on the right is the official seal of the Bank of Canada in black.
On the back In the middle, an allegory of Agriculture sitting with tools on her lap. On the sides, at her feet, a cornucopia and a sheaf of wheat. All around, a vast decorative composition accompanied by the value of the banknote.
The color of the banknote is black and green.
