The Canada 1 Dollar (1911 Dominion of Canada) is the official currency in Canada.
The first paper money issued in the country was the British army’s notes since 1813 and 1815.
The Canadian dollar had an initial introduction dating from the 1830s, and in 1871, after all the government approved the Uniform Currency Act to unify the currency in all Provinces of the country. Currently are circulating banknotes in denominations of 5, 10, 20, 50, and 100 dollars.
The 1 Dollar note front design features Portrait Earl (Governor General) and Countess of Grey at center with the face value “One” and “1” on the left and right.
