Description
The Bosnia and Herzegovina convertible mark is the official currency of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The international official currency symbol; KM. After the Dayton Agreement in 1995 (General Framework Agreement for Peace in Bosnia and Herzegovina), the currency was introduced to replace the Bosnia and Herzegovina dinar, Croatian kuna, and Republika Srpska dinar in 1988. Consequently, the Central Bank of Bosnia Herzegovina introduced coins in denominations of 10, 20, and 50 fenings/pfenigs, followed by the 1, 2, and 5 marks coins, which were introduced a few years later.
The 20 Bosnia and Herzegovina feninga coin front design features the country flag, followed by the date of issue and the country’s name, which surrounds the central motif. The reverse of the coin illustrates the denomination superimposed on the map of Bosnia and Herzegovina, followed by the country’s name, which surrounds the central motif. This coin is part of the 1998 – 2021 series, its rim is fluted, and its color is bronze.
