The Bolivia bolivianos is the official currency in Bolivia since 1864. Because of many years of inflation, the Bolivian peso was replaced by the boliviano, and in 1988, coins were issued in denominations of 2, 5, 10, 20 and 50 centavos, and 1 boliviano followed by 2 bolivianos in 1991.

The Andes’ Condor, two intertwined branches of laurel and the olive tree, a cannon, two rifles, an axe on the right and the cap of liberty on the left) and a start below. The reverse coin design has the denomination with laurel branches below. This coin is part of the 2010 – 2012 series, its rim is plain, and its color is silver.
