The Bermudian dollar is the official currency in Bermuda since 1970, when the process to replace the pound started until 1972 when the Bermudian dollar and pound relation were totally broken. The government introduced notes with denominations of 1, 5, 10, 20, and 50 dollars, followed by 100 dollars in 1982 and 2 dollars in 1988 when the 1 dollar coin replaced the correspondent note. In 2014 the legacy notes were retired from circulation but still can be exchanged until 2024.

Currently are circulating banknotes with denominations 2, 5, 10, 20, 50 and 100 Bermudian dollars.

The 20 Dollars note front features a Whistling frog (eleutheradactylus johnstonei), Queen Elizabeth II (Queen of the United Kingdom, and 15 other commonwealth realms). The reverse note side has Gibb’s Hill lighthouse; St. Mark’s church. This note is part of the 2009 series and, its color is green and multicolor. (140 x 68 mm)
