Description
The Bermudian dollar is the official currency in Bermuda since 1970 when the process to replace the pound started until 1972 when the Bermudian dollar and pound relation were totally broken. The government introduced coins with denominations of 1, 5, 10, 25, and 50 cents, followed by 1 and 5 dollars coin in 1983, but the 50 cents and 5 dollars coins were retired of circulation in 1990.
The 10 Bermudian Cents coin front design features the Elizabeth II (Queen of the United Kingdom and 15 other Commonwealth realms) bust. The reverse coin design has a Bermudian Lily flower and the denomination on top. This coin is part of the 1999 – 2009 series, its rim is fluted, and its color is silver.
