The florin is the official currency in Aruba since 1986, replacing the Netherland Antillean guilder. The Central Bank of Aruba issued notes in denominations of 5, 10, 25, 50 and 100 florin, then in 1993, the 500 florin note was introduced, and the 5 florin note was substituted by coin in 1995. The Central Bank of Aruba issued a new banknote series with 10, 20, 50 and a new 200 florin denomination. Currently, these series are circulating.
The 200 Florin note front features a Crested Caracara (Caracara plancus), Ruby-topaz hummingbird (Chrysolampis mosquitus), leaf cactus (plural leaf cacti). The reverse note side has a Barrel organ, drum. This note is part of the 2019 polymer series and, its color is Brown on a multicolor underprint. (148 x 74 mm)
